What is a chronograph?
A chronograph is a complication that is added to a watch to measure time with great accuracy. Hence, it has two independent measurement mechanisms: on the one hand, the traditional, which tells the time; and on the other,
the chronometer function, to record the time elapsed.
The system can change according to model and brand but is usually activated by pressing the pushers. The process to stop it is the same. This simplicity is part of the singularity of this type of complication, which is displayed
on the dial by means of a second and smaller hand, or on subdials for the seconds elapsed.
